7-9lb DIY Live Broiler Chicken (Pre-Order)
This is a live Broiler Chicken. You pick them up and then process them yourself. Our Chickens are raised on a happy farm by happy people. No antibiotics or hormones EVER, just good quality feed and care - Finished on Corn. These will be ready by Mid-September.
The $10 is a Deposit on a Free Range Whole Chicken. Once your chicken is ready for pickup it will be weighed and you will be charged according to the final weight (usually 5-6lbs) minus your deposit.
At our farm, we raise broilers—young meat chickens bred for their meaty build and rapid growth. We source our chicks from an independent hatchery and start them in a warm, protective brooder.Around 2-3 weeks, we move them to a spacious free-range setup, where they have plenty of room to roam, scratch, and explore. Each bird enjoys ample space to stay active and healthy
We ensure they always have access to fresh, high-quality forage to keep them thriving. Our broilers are fed a non-GMO, locally sourced ration, finished on corn breathing clean air free from the fecal dust of factory farms. With sunshine, fresh air, and small enough groups to prevent stress, our chickens are happy, healthy, and genuinely loved.
We keep them safe from predators—hawks, raccoons, and more all love chicken—while giving them the care and attention they deserve.We process our birds at 7, 8, or 9 weeks, depending on their growth. Our growing season spans May to October, starting with our first flock in March and wrapping up with the last in late October.
